Welcome to Ugly Dog Adventures! We are dedicated to helping your dog become their best self through our expertly guided pack walks, as well as our very high-level training programs, including board and trains and lifestyle training. To ensure a great fit, we start all new clients with a comprehensive evaluation conducted by Jennifer Patten, our founder and one of Southern California’s top dog socialization experts.

What to Expect from the Evaluation

Our evaluation process is designed to assess your dog’s behavior, understand their socialization needs, and determine how they will fit within our existing pack, as well as to identify the most suitable training options for your dog.

This evaluation is crucial for understanding your dog’s personality and needs, whether they’re best suited for our world-famous pack walks, a comprehensive board and train program, or tailored lifestyle training. The $75 evaluation fee includes your dog’s first pack walk or an introduction to the specific training services we recommend.

During the evaluation, I’ll be there to offer you personalized insights and guidance on proper socialization and behavior techniques, tailored specifically to your dog. We typically hold these evaluations in person at a park in Orange, Monday through Friday around noon. Is there a weekday around noon that works for you? It should take about 20-30 minutes to complete the evaluation.
